HIPS Mobile is a solution for Australian clinicians to view their patients digital health records in the My Health Record system on their mobile devices.
The app provides the authenticated clinicians with notifications of new documents in the My Health Record of their patients in hospital, and enables the viewing of documents.
NT Cardiac, NT Department of Health and Healthscope have agreed to use HIPS Mobile as a solution for viewing digital health records in the My Health Record system. The project objective is to enable a solution for NT Cardiac doctors to view records for their patients in the Royal Darwin Hospital and the Darwin Private Hospital on their mobile devices, and gather feedback for future product development.
The HIPS Mobile product is made available through National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA), who hold the intellectual property. Chamonix is the vendor of the HIPS products to NEHTA.
The app will only present information. No patient information can be stored on the app nor can the clinicians make edits to records through the app.
